Hola, I'm Gerardo Perez, Founding Partner

A passionate designer whose journey began at the globally renowned McCann Advertising. It was there that I first uncovered my love for transforming abstract concepts into visually captivating experiences—a passion that has since driven my entire career.

 

Throughout the years, I’ve had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with industry giants like Sony, HP and Microsoft, where I’ve honed my expertise in creating seamless, intuitive user experiences. My fluency in both English and Spanish has allowed me to bridge cultural divides, ensuring that my designs resonate across diverse audiences.

 

I’ve led UI design teams for iconic brands such as Coca-Cola LATAM, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Zaxby’s, Holland America, and Arby’s, and have directed impactful projects at GroundFloor Media, including initiatives for the City of Denver, Rose Community Foundation, Denver Arts & Venues and the 2024 FIFA/World Cup Soccer Bid. These diverse experiences have not only deepened my understanding of various industries but also sparked my entrepreneurial drive, leading to the creation of El 5 Strategies.

 

As the founder and owner of E 5 Strategies, I’m dedicated to delivering design solutions that exceed expectations. My passion lies in distilling complex ideas into visually stunning, user-centric designs that elevate brands to new heights.

As a Partner at El 5 Strategies, Brian Saxman brings a wealth of expertise and vision to the agency. With over two decades in marketing and advertising, Brian has developed a sharp eye for market trends and consumer behavior. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the agency's approach to integrated, multicultural marketing solutions. Brian’s background spans brand integration, media strategy, and cutting-edge digital marketing techniques, allowing him to craft campaigns that not only resonate with diverse audiences but also drive tangible results.

Before joining El 5 Strategies, Brian held key roles in national and local advertising firms, where he led high-impact projects for local regional and global brands. His deep understanding of brand positioning, combined with a data-driven approach, has helped clients navigate complex markets and expand their reach. At El 5 Strategies, he continues to pioneer innovative marketing strategies, fostering collaboration across teams to deliver campaigns that blend creativity with analytical precision.

 

Brian’s journey into marketing was driven by his passion for connecting people and ideas. Beyond his professional achievements, he is deeply committed to his young daughter and traveling. His multicultural perspective, gained through years of working with diverse brands and communities, has shaped both his professional and personal worldview. He believes in the power of authenticity and the impact it has on building lasting relationships between brands and their audiences.

Eric Clayman is a business development specialist who has worked for and/or consulted with start-ups, emerging brands, and established companies throughout his career. Eric was one of the founding partners of Udi's Granola and Gluten Free Foods taking the brand from a farmers market offering to national distribution. During Eric's time running the sales department at Dazbog Coffee, he produced consistent year over year growth through building existing business distribution and developing new sales channels such as food service.

In Eric's personal time, he enjoys the active Colorado lifestyle. Pursuits include skiing, biking (mountain and city rides), and all things that involve a racquet (tennis, platform tennis, padel, ping pong, etc,). Eric is a passionate foodie and world traveler always seeking out the latest restaurants, breweries, or products discovered on visits to stores/markets.

And finally, Eric loves time with the family: wife Katie, 3 children (Addy, Joe, Pauline), and 2 dogs (Sista, Maverick).

Kelly is passionate about driving innovation and shaping the future. As the Director of Research, Development, and Strategic Planning, Kelly combines creativity with strategic thinking to turn ideas into reality. With a love for problem-solving, Kelly thrives on building plans that not only push boundaries but also create lasting impact. Known for her collaborative approach, she brings people together to achieve meaningful results.

Kelly takes a hands-on approach as the Director of Research, Development, and Strategic Planning, working closely with clients to understand their needs and goals. She collaborates with them to develop innovative strategies and implement solutions that drive success. With a strong focus on partnership, Kelly ensures that every plan is tailored to deliver meaningful, measurable results that align with the client’s vision.
